On the menu, the Chole Bhature is titled Pindi Chana & Bhatura. The Malai Paneer Tikka came with a small bowl of green chilli chutney. The Chole Bhature came with onions and achaar (Indian pickles), and were very filling. The chole were not spicy but not too mild either, they had the perfect blend of masala. The bhature were not dripping in oil and were soft to the touch. One plate of Chole Bhature would be enough for 2 people. We ordered 3 Chole Bhature for 3 people but we felt 2 plates would have been enough. The wait times could be improved as we felt we waited a long time for both the Malai Paneer Tikka and the Chole Bhature. However, food-wise, I would highly recommend Milanu's for both food and a good price. Jerome Handapangoda2025-05-26Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The food was delicious when I first visited Milanu's Tandoori Grill, and the service was very good and friendly. Thank you!❤️💐 Neeta Patel2025-05-26Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We loved the Tandoori fish—it was perfectly spiced and grilled. The Chowmein noodles were a big hit at our table! Great flavors, friendly service, and a cozy vibe. Will be back for sure! What happened to this place ? Is it changed to a new owner or something ? It used to be one of the best in Durham 3 years back . The goat biriyani was super spicy and tasted more like Pakistani rather than Indian . The more items they added to the menu with the Hakka stuff , the quality went down the drain . Not happy ! Sabrina2025-05-14Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We ordered takeout for mother's day. Some items were exceptionally good, while others ... Not so much. The paneer tikka was tender and perfectly spiced, and the bell peppers and onions was a nice addition to the dish. I also enjoyed the veggie biriyani, which was not too oily. I also heard the chicken Tikka was also delicious and the chicken biriyani was ok. However the vegetables medley curry was disappointing. It looks like they used frozen vegetables (carrots, green peas, green beans), but no fresh vegetables. And the layer of oil on top was not appealing either. The shrimp curry was similar... A decent sized container, but only maybe 5 shrimp with lots of sauce. And again, the sauce was oily. On the upside, the gentleman who answered the phone was patient with my questions, as this was the first time ordering from here. So that was also quite nice. Also, as a suggestion, my family would like the option of another fish, like cod. I wouldn't mind paying a little more for that instead of basa, but you'll have to research to see if more customers feel that way. It has a lot of potential, but they need to tweak some of their dishes. Erfan2025-05-11Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I would say the interior is not a super fancy place, but it is nice, very clean etc. The food OMG. One of the best meals I have enjoyed. The Super Naan is just incredible. Its so far superior to your typical naan. The Thika tandori fish. and tandori chicken and shrimp WOW just wow. The owner is a super nice guy and our family was just raving at how good the food was. Thanks Anu it was so far beyond normal Indian food.
